Thesis Title: Mysteries of Science Fiction: Postcritique, Cognition, and Genre

Simona's doctoral thesis explores intersections between science fiction and various forms of crime fiction (detective fiction, the hardboiled, metaphysical detective fiction, noir) from the late 19th to early 21st century, with the goal of laying the foundations for a literary model of science fiction informed by postcritique and cognitive-literary studies.
